Question by Alec O: How long between JLPT3 - JLPT1 ?
I passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test 3 in 2005. Now I'm about halfway between JLPT3 and JLPT2. I'm going to live in Japan for a year on a working holiday visa from July.
How long and how easy do you think it will be to go from my current level to being able to pass JLPT1 and read newspapers etc?
I'm either going to be studying Mon-Fri for 3 or 4 hours a day at a Japanese language school, or I'll study intensively by myself and
