Japanese Poem 五十音(1) - for pronunciation practice -

Original text is the poem written by Hakushu Kitahara 北原白秋(1885-1942) the title of the poem is 五十音/ go.ju.-(u).o.nn /. Hakushu said that he wanted to give the children this poem, in order to make them naturally learn to pronounce and make them understand the essence of the Japanese sounds of each series of Japanese syllabary-五十音, by singing this poem. --------------------------------------- I use an audio file which is made by ANDO TOWA:

In anime and manga (and I guess real life), how do the Japanese school sections work?

Question by Rerednaw: In anime and manga (and I guess real life), how do the Japanese school sections work?
While I watch and read a bit...I've never figured out the Japanese school system. What is 2B versus 3F? Do they go by year? Are the letters denoting general scholastic ability? Is A better than C?

What's the equivalency to the American system? (9-12 grade = ??? in Japan)
Thanks!

How to not speak like a Japanese Transvestite

I don't know what I was thinking. See? Bad history lesson. One of America's biggest problems in terms of learning Japanese is the fact that 90% of teachers are women. That means 90% of people learning Japanese are learning women's language, which in turn makes boys sound like girls,

We wanted them to be able to read, understand the meaning of Kanji, and know how the Kanji is used in sentences. Knowing how the Kanji is used in the sentences will naturally give a better sense of the Kanji meaning rather than knowing the word meaning only. We encourage the reader to refer to other Japanese grammar books to
