Could someone please explain the grading system, extracurricular activities, timetables, classes and what time school starts and ends?
I know that students attend juku or cram schools and that you have to take exams to enter high school.

I've been looking at taking a 1 year course at Japanese language schools and they say that you need to apply for a student visa before going there.
