Q&A: What is needed to take up Learning Japanese in College?

Question by Gemeni: What is needed to take up Learning Japanese in College?
What do I need to start for a Japanese Major. Im a Senior in High School and would really like to start in Community College for general studies then after/or during my general studies begin learning Japanese Language.(Not at the Comm. College) I know North Central College in Naperville, Illinois has Japanese Majors but didnt mention requirements. Anyone with experience in this field please share your
