What level of proficiency can you achieve with the Genki Japanese I and II textbooks?

Question by asterisk: What level of proficiency can you achieve with the Genki Japanese I and II textbooks?
My school doesn't offer AP Japanese Language so I will be studying on my own. I am currently a sophomore and I plan to take the exam at the end of my senior year. To plan ahead, I just wanted to know if the Genki series will cover all of the material on the AP Japanese exam. How many hours of study should I expect?
