Question by Martel: If you were to be given an assignment on Japanese pronunciation, how would you write the pronunciations?
Would it be romanji?
My professor wants us to memorize the vocabulary for the next chapter, you know the hiragana + kanji, but he also wants us to write the pronunciation, but is it romanji?


For example, the word "sea", umi is romanji, but is considered pronunciation too?

Just want to double check.
