Q&A: What sorts of jobs in Japan would rather hire a foreigner?

Question by : What sorts of jobs in Japan would rather hire a foreigner?
I know that they want English-speakers for English teachers or translators...

But I was thinking more of restaurant jobs, in Japan would they rather a foreigner serve at someplace that serves mostly American food? Like a Texan-style steakhouse or the like? I know it's awful hard for a foreigner to get a job in Japan, so I hope there are some answers!
